Leslie Uyeda wrote this piece for a concert in the restored copper mine (now the BC Museum of Mining) in Britannia Beach on the BC coast. This duo is a conversation for two spirits—ghosts?—the voices of former miners. They are happy and teasing in some of their recollections, but quiet and wistful in others.
